If you would like to know the common name, scientific name, or characteristics of a tree at the Arboretum, click on the photo at left for a list of some of the trees commonly found on the Arboretum trails. For help in identifying a tree by leaf shape, visit our Tree Identification Guide.

Many wildflowers are found along the Arboretum trails. A click on the photo at left will lead to a list of the more common ones found at the Arboretum. Visit the Photo Gallery to view a slide show of wildflowers seen along the trails as well as those located around the Visitors Center.

Note: The plants included in these lists are ones that have been observed along the UT Arboretum roads and trails and in specific collection areas. They are not comprehensive lists of the Arboretum's flora, but represent many of the plants commonly seen by visitors. Nomenclature generally follows that used by the UT Vascular Plant Herbarium website.
